Straight From The Distillery

For individuals desiring a more “RAW” Whiskey Barrel Lid we offer our stamped lids. These authentic lids are straight from the used barrels that were used to age the distilled spirits. Upon receiving these lids from various distilleries we clean, sand, remove “most of the char from the underside”, reinforce, treat for longevity, and attach a support disc and mounting hardware. This process results in capturing and maintaining the original character of your lids with a clean appearance.

Small slits between the heads slats are to be expected with these authentic barrel heads. Minor imperfections, knots, dings, scratches, and discolorations will be apparent as a result of years of storage and wear while aging these spirits.

The barrel lid that you see on this page is the actual barrel lid that you will receive. The lids in the photos have not been treated with the protective coating because some of our customers like to stain the lids before displaying them. Once you order your lid we will apply the protective coating unless you request otherwise.

The lids are roughly 1” thick and 22” in diameter, weight is approximately 15 lbs. each.

We do all of the work to get you a original, fully prepared, RAW, barrel lid while maintaining it’s rustic charm. We upgrade our inventory frequently so please check back often.
