Our reclaimed bourbon stave bottle openers are made from White Oak Bourbon barrel staves. All our products start from a used and charred whiskey barrel sourced directly from various distilleries in Kentucky. These bottle openers are made from the barrel staves. The bottom of the bottle opener you will see where the tops and bottoms of the barrel are attached. We utilize every part of the bourbon barrels that we rescue from various breweries in Kentucky. We clean and sand down all of the staves being careful to leave some of the original character while still remaining a physically comfortable and visually appealing bottle opener. We go one step further to create a smooth surface, and coated with a mineral oil finish. Charred on one side to show off a black hue and add a smoked, rustic appearance.
